The United Nations Foundation was established in 1998 by CNN founder Ted Turner's historic $1 billion gift to support the United Nations. Since 2006, Mark has provided strategic advice to the UN Foundation on the use of social media and blogging. He drafts op-eds and speeches for UN Foundation executives and works closely with the foundation's communications team to support foundation priorities in social media and the blogosphere.
PSI is a leading global health organization with programs targeting malaria, child survival, HIV, reproductive health and non-communicable disease in 67 countries. In 2011, Mark helped to re-launch PSI's blog, Healthy Lives. He manages the blog's content and founded the daily global health and development news clips service, The Healthy Dose. Mark is also a contributing writer to PSI's quarterly magazine PSI IMPACT.
Triangle Advisers
Triangle Advisers is a social media consulting firm founded by the Internet strategist Peter Daou. Since 2006, Mark has worked closely with Peter in a number of projects for non-profit organizations. Past and present clients include: The Clinton Global Initiative, Planned Parenthood, AARP, the UN Foundation, and PR Newswire.
